This week in Barcelona we took a tour of Barcelona by architect Enric Massip-bosch. The architect of the Telephonica tower (pictured below).

He showed a side a Barcelona we have not seen yet in order to show us how the plan of the city's works. Below is a picture of an underpass where the trains take you quickly from place to place. Barcelona has quite parts and parts that arnt actually designed. On this path many people were enjoying the greenery, jogging, and biking.

After going to the underpass and a few other places we went up to one of the highest points of Barcelona, Tibidabo. At Tibidado we could see the beautiful views of the city plan. We could analyze the organization of the city blocks, and see that it is a much more organic city than those in America.

Then in history this week we went to Park Guell and analyzed the structure of the buildings there. As you can see from my sketches there are many kinds of columns. I will eventually go back here because we only had a couple hours to see one of Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces.

Sorry for the short post but it was a busy studio week! Currently about to board for a flight to Portugal! Tell you about that next week!
